To the community of Nogales, I am truly honored and humbled by the trust that was instilled in me.  I will forever cherish the positive changes our administration afforded you.  From the expansion of the Mariposa Port of Entry, to the construction of two main city parks, to the soccer lights for our youth, to the financial stability of earning a AA bond rating from Standard & Poors, to the restoration of the old City Hall, to the pavements of streets, to promoting tourism and commerce by creating an Economic Development department, to hosting the first ever Mayor’s Thanksgiving food drive, to the strengthening of bi-national relationships and the direct hiring of competent leaders such as the City Manager, Chief of Police, Fire Chief, City Attorney and City Magistrate, among other accomplishments. I would like to thank all of those who worked diligently in partnership with me and shared a common belief in improving the quality of life for all the people of Nogales including, council members, all employees, staff, boards and commissions.

To the volunteers, friends and family, Thank you! Words cannot describe how grateful I am for your true love and continued support. I am forever indebted by your kindness, loyalty and generosity. Your positive spirit continues to motivate today.

I pledge to continue to seek out and be guided by your input. I will always remain a true advocate and find innovative ways to work jointly with the Nogales community and strongly support bipartisan legislation.
